“Blowing out someone else’s candle doesn’t make yours shine any brighter.” – Unknown
About This Episode:
Progress is essential to getting the results we want, and I believe that a real desire to grow, move forward, evolve and pursue better will not only help us achieve our goals but actually enable us to enjoy the journey along the way. But, it is our approach to progress that matters most. We see all the time people trying to ‘get ahead’ in life or in business, usually in one of two ways: by tearing others or things down, or by building them up. In this #WalkWithMe episode, I break down these two approaches to their core, and talk about how tearing down might be used in the short-term, but it doesn’t last in the long-term. Building up, however, is about creation and can lead to long-term sustainability and positive impact.
